If you’re looking for a vocal coach…Stop. You found him.Vasili is absolutely incredible. For years I thought I was a baritone, as I was told by other coaches. But within a few minutes, he smiles and says, “You’re actually a tenor.” I was shocked because I never thought I’d ever hear those words.What happened over the next few lessons completely transformed by relationship with singing. I found my true voice, a voice that wowed my friends and family and gave me so much more inspiration to write music that I would LOVE to sing.Not going to lie, Vasili is very honest and will push you forward. There’s no sugar coating here, there is technique, work and diligence but also creativity, ingenuity and passion. He’s very smart, having 10 different ways to communicate the same concept, so that if I don’t get it on the first try (which is typical lol) then he will help me understand it a different way.If you hire him you’re going to find very, very quickly that he delivers beyond what most vocal coaches even attempt. He will reach into you and pull out a voice buried deep inside. He will help you shape your sound into a wave of music. He will transform you in the best signer you can possibly be.Like I said above, stop searching. Vasilli is a phenomenal singer but more than that the way he teaches my young daughter about everything else that singing brings ie confidence, poise, strength is wonderful and highly skilled enabling her to be in full command of her craft. I highly recommend him.

Vasili is a truly amazing coach who managed to get the best out of us (and our voices as the extension of our souls). My partner and I worked with him both on our signing and speaking voices and Vasili taught us the necessary techniques and gave us the right mindset and psychological support. He uses lots of helpful metaphors and innovative exercises and is full of positive, encouraging energy in his sessions. We can highly recommend him to anyone wanting to improve their vocal skills.

Where do I start? Vasilis is everything I dreamt of in a singing coach. I trained for years until late into my teens, but then stopped for nearly 15 years. I didn’t want to start at the basics again, but also didn’t have the same range or ability I used to. My partner bought me lessons with Vasilis for Christmas as a surprise (I had previously found him and thought he sounds amazing, but too good for me). I showed up to the studio and there he was, and a few minutes in he already had me at a level I thought I wasn’t capable of. Not only does he teach you singing techniques, but he instils a new level of confidence in you. He speaks to me in a language I understand, he doesn’t let me come in and faff or give excuses, but guides me gently and tells me I’m capable of the notes. Encouragement and realism. He’s quickly picked up my range, old and new and has me focusing on breathing, tongue placement, voice placement etc. All the little things you forget over the years. And to top it all off, I can then pick songs that fill my heart with so much joy. I walk away feel light, fulfilled, proud and confident after every class. Heart fully open. Thank you for giving me that and bringing my voice back!

I was really nervous before going to the London vocal coach. I had never sung before and had grown up with a stammer which had made me conscious about my voice. During the first lesson I felt a release of a tension I never knew I had. After a few lessons I began to see my voice in a very different way. It was no longer something I wanted to conceal but an instrument that was my own. Vasili’s lessons have given me more than I could ever have hoped for and I would recommend him to anyone. He is a very gifted teacher.

I wish I could choose more stars. In just a few lessons, I have gone from having lost faith in my singing to having a completely new understanding on multiple levels. Vasili is clear and concise when teaching technique. He is skilled at correcting bad habits while at the same time being encouraging and making you truly excited about singing. He doesn’t get stuck in teaching only one style. I can’t recommend him highly enough! Work with him and it will change your life!

Thank you for everything you teach me Vasili! I didn't learn in almost 2 months from another teacher, how much I learn from you in a few hours.I liked every detail you taught me and your personality is nice to , because have everything, seriosity, you're very trustly person and respectful.I appreciate it a lot because it is transmitted that you put your soul into everything you do and you don't like to waste time at all or in vain. You are very expressive and very explicit, but especially very confident, that's why you can learn very quickly how to improve your vocal techniques, correct difficulties in how to sing and absolutely everything ,you need to become a true vocal soloist. . Every detail of your techniques made me understand what no one has ever explained or shown me, not even another vocal coach. I am proud to have such a good vocal coach in London who really does his job and puts his soul into everything he does, but especially he knows how to encourage us to gain self-confidence. I asked Vasilli to coach my 9 year old daughter for professional auditions. Vasilli is kind, patient and really constructive, helpful to my daughters age and abilities. Lessons were both structured and inspiring. Couldn’t recommend him enough!

We invited Vasili to come to do an online teaching session for over 30 students and he nailed it. Not only did all of the participants learn something new about their vocals and the singing but they all gave feedback saying that Vasili was incredibly fun, professional and interactive. I'm not sure there's much else we can ask of from a teacher.

An absolutely amazing Teacher and Mentor...We started lessons with Vasili hoping to become stronger and more capable singers. It would be an understatement to say he his a very experienced tutor. Making us as students feel very comfortable and motivated. He is very good at explaining how to use your voice correctly and be more confident and effective while singing. We have classes with Vasiliy for more than four years going through the Voice Kids UK and other experiences. He is an excellent motivating coach, singing himself well. His classes are never boring with best abilities of the voice extracted and enhanced. Opera is obviously at top, but not only that. Everything vocally sound will be great.

So i turned up for my first vocal lesson ever, being an over 40 year old male , I'm thinking I'm too old for this gig , played guitar for many years, with some great vocalists , but never really tried to sing, apart from in the car when I'm alone , embarrassed zero confidence feeling stupid and almost wondering how I got to even book a vocal lesson, I mean come on , singing isn't for me , I sound terrible, any how, I'm waiting outside the rehearsal rooms in like the steinway studios, ok I'm about to do a runner , this is way above my grade .... but I'm caught on the way out, by Vasili , he says hello, and already the stress is starting to drain away, awesome karma right from the off , so we begin , within seconds I feel more and more relaxed , he understands my lack of confidence Im a beginner , patient fun encouraging, zip an hour into various fun call and response piano training and physical techniques , and I'm actually hitting some notes , and I don’t think they sound too bad anymore - that was like 1 lesson.I book again for another lesson in the following week, as i wait again outside another great rehearsal facility in central London , out walks a future star operatic singer, I recognize him fro the TV, he was training with Vasili before my lesson, I'm like wow, this guy teaches the stars, and now he has to adjust his lesson back down to my beginners level, which he does effortlessly -, one of those rare people in life , don't hesitate to book a lesson , its life changing , if your a beginner and thinking about singing , call this guy , he is amazingThe lessons gave me a huge amount of confidence , made me release that songs I used to shy away from, as they were too high for my voice, now are my play ground, Vasili has brought music back into my soul - and for that I can not thank him enough

This Teacher, has encouraged my daughter to progress in her voice and her self confidence. She has learnt new and amazing skills , on how to sing like a pro . At the beginning, before she started ,she was okay and could sing well . A few lessons later ,she has a voice that is becoming much better ,after his amazing lessons and warm ups for her . These skills that he has taught her ,are immensely helping her to improve her voice step by step . Not only did Vasili help my son raise his singing piece to a very good standard but he also showed him the best way to present himself during an audition. My 10 years old daughter found Vasili on internet and what she didn't expect is that she found much more than a singing teacher. Making an initial singing lesson appointment was probably one of the most challenging things I have ever done. As a psychotherapist my work is often very serious and I had been challenged to think of something I had always wanted to do, to take me away from work and back to myself and fun. I arrived at my first lesson filled with self doubt and kept reminding myself that I never had to see the singing teacher again and in the worst case I could just leave. Several months later, I look forward to every lesson and am disappointed when it finishes. This has only been possible by the gentle and encouraging way that Vasili works. He is a true professional. There is no ego and all I have received is the sense that he wants me to progress and to find parts of myself that I have yet to explore and express. Demons of self doubt are gradually fading and I find myself moving through shyness and starting to blossom in ways that I had never imagined. Much gratitude.

I have recently enrolled my 11 year old Grandson for classes with Vasili. I was overwhelmed by the immense improvement after just one lesson and subsequently. Vasili has a wealth of knowledge in singing, voice, and breathing techniques and conveys the necessary information in a concise manner that is easy for a child to take in. My Grandson loves the lessons and can appreciate how much he is improving week by week. Vasili has been teaching my 14yr old son for about 3 months. I looked for a teacher for him primarily because as he went through his voice change he lost confidence in his singing as was unable to use and control his voice. I was surprised at how much he learned from the very first lesson and how he started believing in his voice again. Vasili is knowledgeable, proactive and quick to discern even the subtlest details and has a fantastic ability of getting the best out of my son's voice. He has learned the technicalities of how to use different parts of the body to optimise his singing as well as performing to a crowd in a very short space of time. Vasili’s teaching became to me a new level of vocal creative work.The most valuable was that I started to believe in myself. I’ve heard my real voice. I’ve rid of tightness in the area of my jaw and have learned to breathe in a right way. Mr. Vasili Karpiak is an amazing voice teacher. He is an experienced singer and is skilled exploring students’ vocal potentials. I had very little knowledge about techniques prior to meeting him, and had doubt about my ability to sing solos. But Vasili was very supportive and was clear in his illustrations.
